7-Hydroxymitragynine (7-OH)
7-Hydroxymitragynine, commonly called 7-OH, is a highly potent alkaloid derived from kratom. It is sold in concentrated extract form and is significantly more powerful than standard kratom powder or capsules.
7-OH binds to opioid receptors with much greater potency than kratom leaf products. This makes dependence develop faster, withdrawal more intense, and stopping on your own considerably harder.
There is growing concern in the medical and regulatory community about 7-OH. It is currently under review for scheduling as a controlled substance. This would make it significantly harder to obtain.
